Most modern smartphones released after 2019 (like iPhone 11+, Samsung S20+, and Google Pixel 3+) support eSIM technology. To check, dial *#06# on your device; if you see an EID number, your phone is eSIM ready. Simnity supports all unlocked, eSIM-compatible devices.
Yes! Unlike many competitors who only offer data, Simnity provides "Total Connectivity" bundles. Many of our plans for 190+ countries include a local phone number allowing you to make calls and receive SMS (perfect for bank OTPs and local bookings) alongside your 5G data.
We recommend installing your Simnity eSIM the day before you travel or at the airport using Wi-Fi. You can scan the QR code early, but the data plan won't typically activate until you land and connect to a supported local network in your destination.
Yes. For your eSIM to work, you must go to your phone settings and Enable Data Roaming for the Simnity line. Don't worry you won't be charged by your home provider as long as your "Primary" SIM's roaming is turned off.
Absolutely. Your WhatsApp, iMessage, and other apps are tied to your phone's memory, not your SIM. You can continue using your original number for these apps while using Simnity for all your data and travel calls.
Yes, most Simnity plans allow for Data Tethering. You can share your high-speed 5G/4G connection with your laptop, tablet, or other travelers, making it perfect for digital nomads and families.
Simnity makes it easy to stay connected. You can top up your existing plan directly from your Simnity dashboard without needing to install a new eSIM. Simply choose your data pack and get back online instantly.
Yes, for three reasons: Convenience (no more searching for kiosks at the airport), Safety (you don't lose your home SIM card), and Speed (you get 4G/ 5G connectivity the second you land). Plus, with Simnity, you get the best local rates across 190+ countries.
Yes! Modern phones allow you to store multiple eSIM profiles (usually up to 8 or more). You can keep different Simnity plans for each country you visit and simply toggle them "On" or "Off" in your settings.
Simnity partners with Tier-1 carriers (like Vodafone, Orange, and AT&T) to provide the fastest available speeds. In supported regions, you will enjoy high-speed 5G connectivity as standard, with 4G LTE as a reliable backup.
After payment, your eSIM QR code is emailed to you and saved in your Simnity account under My eSIMs. On your phone open Settings, then Mobile or Cellular, then Add eSIM or Add Data Plan, and scan the QR code, then follow the on-screen steps. Install it before you travel, but only turn the line on and enable Data Roaming for it once you land at your destination.
First check your email inbox and spam folder, then log in to your Simnity account and open My eSIMs, where your QR code is always available. eSIMs are usually delivered within a few minutes of a successful payment. If it is not there shortly after paying, contact us with your order number and we will sort it out quickly. You are never charged without receiving your eSIM.
Make sure you have installed the eSIM and arrived at your destination, then check that the Simnity line is turned on, Data Roaming is enabled for it, and it is selected for mobile data. Toggle Airplane mode on and off, or restart your phone, to refresh the network. Coverage can take a few minutes after you land. If it still does not connect, contact us with your ICCID, shown in My eSIMs, and we will help.
If your eSIM has not been activated, you may be eligible for a refund. You can request it from the eSIM details page in your Simnity account. Our team reviews each request, and if it is approved the amount is credited to your Simnity wallet, which you can use for any future purchase. Activated or used eSIMs are generally not refundable. If you had any trouble activating, please contact us first and we will try to fix it.
If your plan is rechargeable, open the eSIM in My eSIMs and tap Topup, then choose a top-up package and pay. The extra data is added to your existing eSIM, so you keep the same QR code and line. We also send you a reminder when your data is running low so you can top up before you run out.
We accept credit and debit cards, plus UPI and net banking for customers in India, and PayPal for international payments. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways, and your full card details are never stored on our servers.
