You simply scan a QR code to activate your mobile plan—no physical card insertion required. It works exactly like a regular SIM card for calls, texts, and data.

After purchasing a Simnity eSIM plan, you'll receive a QR code via email. Simply scan the QR code with your smartphone's camera in your device settings, and your eSIM will be activated instantly. Once activated, you can connect to mobile networks in your destination country and enjoy seamless data connectivity.

No! You can keep your physical SIM card in your phone and use both simultaneously. Most modern smartphones support dual SIM functionality, allowing you to use your home SIM for calls/texts and the Simnity eSIM for data. This way, you stay reachable on your regular number while avoiding expensive roaming charges.

Simnity eSIMs work with most modern smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches that support eSIM technology.
