How to Set Up an eSIM on Google Pixel

To set up an eSIM on a Google Pixel, open Settings, go to Network and internet, tap the plus next to SIMs, choose to download a SIM, and scan your QR code. Your existing SIM stays active alongside it.

Steps

  1. On Wi-Fi, open Settings > Network & internet.
  2. Tap the + next to SIMs, then Download a SIM instead?
  3. Tap Next and scan your QR code.
  4. Follow the prompts to enable the eSIM and name the line.
  5. Set it as your data line and turn on roaming for it when you land.

Good to know

Pixel 3 and newer support eSIM in most regions. A few early carrier variants were exceptions, so confirm in Settings.
