eSIM Data Not Working After Landing: Quick Fixes

If eSIM data is not working after you land, make sure the eSIM line is enabled, set as the data line, and has data roaming turned on, then restart. These three settings fix the large majority of arrival issues.

Checklist

  1. Enable the eSIM line in cellular settings.
  2. Set it as the data line.
  3. Turn on Data Roaming for that line.
  4. Restart the phone, or toggle Airplane mode.
  5. If using data switching, disable it so the phone does not fall back to your home SIM.

Still nothing

Select the network manually and confirm coverage for your location. See eSIM not working.
