How to Add an eSIM to an iPad
To add an eSIM to an iPad, open Settings, tap Cellular Data, choose Add a New Plan or Add eSIM, and scan your QR code. Only Wi-Fi plus Cellular iPad models support eSIM.
Steps
- Open Settings > Cellular Data (or Mobile Data).
- Tap Add a New Plan or Add eSIM.
- Scan the QR code from your Simnity account.
- Confirm and label the plan, then turn on data roaming for it abroad.
Good to know
Wi-Fi-only iPads have no cellular chip and cannot use an eSIM. Check that your model is a Wi-Fi + Cellular version.
